Taking holidays....

12/4/2022

Picture
It has been a long three years since I have gone back to see my family in England and now is the time.
We will be taking a much needed break overseas from Wednesday 21st December 2022 and return back to work on Monday 16th January 2023.

We all need a good break in our lives and this is my time to get away and refresh.

We will have our reception staff in the clinic, so feel free to call or email or you would like to book in to see me.

Covid 19 Greater Brisbane Outbreak

22/8/2020

22nd August 2020

With the recent outbreak of Covid 19 cases in the Greater Brisbane area, the following restrictions apply for all patients with appointments.

 - Only the patient will be permitted to attend the appointment, until further notice.
This applies to Gynaecology and Obstetric patients.

 - If you have a fever or ANY other symptoms, do not come - CALL in advance

We do understand that partners and children like to accompany to the appointments, but as we are an Obstetric Practice, pregnant women should be considered a vulnerable group within the community.

The direct implication of COVID19 in pregnancy appears to be low. However, the data is early and very limited. In view of this uncertainty, and the need to ensure your health is maximised, social distancing and personal hygiene standards are being adhered to with in the clinic.

If we find ourselves in the unfortunate scenario of a positive COVID-19 case at Dr Rachel Greens’ we will be closed for a minimum of 14 days so we are doing our best to contain and minimise any risk. Rest assured we have cover within the on-call group at St Andrew’s Private Hospital – Ipswich, that there is 24 hours a day 7 days a week cover for your pregnancy.

This is an unprecedented time in healthcare and in our community. Thank you for your kind understanding with these changes.
